Wilderness, Free OSRS Gold

The debates about free trade and wilderness have raised questions about what will happen to items that were designed to replace it. Quick history lesson... GE- was created around one month prior to the famous changes to substitute free trade.

The initial design of the ancient warriors equipment was to resemble statuettes. But, since the pvp drops back then were so bad that they created the luck drop of ancient warriors equipments so that you could obtain them and make some money (the economy was extremely poor at the time).

Statuettes: These statuettes made available with the brand new bounty hunter system provided hope to those who were looking for great loots. The estimated potential was introduced with the new bounty hunters system, and provided players with a gauge of their chances for good loot. Pvp worlds-Were made to replace the old bounty hunter system, which was a multi-world system, but was reduced to very few worlds.

Hotspots - Areas that offer loot that is 'kinder to players. Clan Wars- One of the very first minigames to allow for F2P. These replaced huge battles in the wilderness between clans. New Bounty Hunter- After many months of pvp, jagex made loot kinder and provided a brand new method to play pk.

FFA arenas- Perhaps the most insignificant thing to happen in Runescape. The update came in a package that ended clan wars forever. It decreased the number of people within the arena and made it less interesting. I'm not even going to talk on the dangers of the arena. Help Request was created when we were unable to trade items in order to turn them into different ones. making armor for low levels, air/law/etc rune running.

Capped Trading- Simple, but will most likely not be effective if updates are implemented. Gravestones- These were created to stop people trading from their deaths and to allow traders to retrieve items. DA tournaments were created to bring back the staking system. But it fails badly, even with the most recent update. Revenants were designed to replace the pkers. Many complained that they were too powerful. But they are very poor. However, they are too strong in f2p.

Jagex can delete content. Old Bounty Hunter was one of the earliest methods of Pking. A crater from space appeared and destroyed all the wild animals.

PvP worlds- They've cut down the number of pvp worlds to around two. DA tournaments - The first one was removed and replaced by something shizzlety which fails equally. The things that were removed after the updates. Shops owned by players- Shop sections of forums, businesses use to thrive money making for many people. Running- used as a way for people make money, natures and laws, etc.

Duel Arena- Previously it was a method for people stake and win huge. Trading- Self explanatory. Pking- Self-explanatory. Merchanting- Use to exist, basically self explanitory. It's still possible, but it's just a mess. Trading hotspots: Varrock, Falador, all five worlds were always packed in areas to trade, different items.

I've been thinking of ways you can train various skills up to 99, and also make a large profit. I am planning on making 100k+ yew-longbows from scratch and then getting 99 Woodcutting Fletching, Mage and Woodcutting. The "supplies" I need to acquire are as follows: Mine 100k+ Pure Essence Craft the Essence into Nature runes.

Once I had everything I required and was able to flytch the longbows that are 100k+. Then, I would alch the longbows. I'll be recognized for a job well done with 70+ mil plus three 99's. This is quite impressive. I am interested in your thoughts regarding my goals. Do you think it's a good target? Or is it a "In Your dreams", "Your out freakinyour mind" kind of goal? Tell me what you think. Right now, my Woodcutting level in the 96th percentile for an hourly rate of yews. I don't know how long it'll take. It could take as long as Old School RS Gold months...
