What you choose to do with each bundle is determined by the look you want to achieve and the density of each bundle.
Short hair styles (8 inches to 14 inches) may only require 2 bundles and a closure or your natural leave out in most cases. Hairstyles ranging from 14 inches to 22 inches in length will typically require three bundles and a closure to complete. In order to achieve a full body look with long hair styles of 24 inches and longer, 4 bundles are typically required. Calculate how many hair bundles you require by referring to the chart below.

While some hair companies sell 5 oz and 7 oz bundles of hair wholesaler, the majority of individual bundles weigh approximately 3.5 oz. Depending on how tightly the bundle is tied together and weighed, the weight of the bundle can be skewed and inaccurate at times. Some suppliers use a number of rubber bands around the base of the weft, which can add weight but not hair, according to the manufacturer.

The length of the hair bun is the most important factor.

The length of the hair determines how large the weft is, even though most straight hair lace wigs   bundles are the same weight (approximately 3.5oz).

Longer hair has a tendency to look thinner and have less body, resulting in the need for more bundles. For a full body style with natural-looking body and volume, you may need to use four or even five bundles to achieve the desired effect.

Bundle Lengths Should Be Layered

Because the shorter length bundles have more hair on the weft, an 18′′-20′′-22′′ length combination will achieve a fuller look than (3) 22′′ bundles, for example, because the shorter length bundles have more hair on the weft, the final installation will have more volume and fullness. Longer hair will necessitate the use of more bundles in order to achieve a naturally full appearance.

Take a look at the texture and curl pattern.

The type of texture you choose will also have an impact on the number of hair bundles you will require for your project. Straight hair has a tendency to lay flat, whereas curly or deep wave textures give the appearance of body and volume. It's possible that washing and conditioning your hair will reduce its body and bounce, giving you a thinner appearance than you might have expected. Depending on the natural thickness of the bundles, you may want to purchase a larger quantity than you anticipate you will require.
